French Immersion Parent Presentation with Dr. Callie Mady

Come join Edmonton Public Schools Institute for Innovation for Second Language Education and Canadian Parents for French Alberta Branch for an evening with Dr. Callie Mady.
Her presentation is entitled "I suspect my child is struggling in learning a second language -what can I do?" This is a 90 minute practical and interactive presentation with a question and answer period.
A professor at Nipissing University in the Schulich School of Education, Dr. Mady teaches in the Teacher Education Program, Aboriginal Certification, and the graduate programs. Dr. Mady holds a PhD from OISE of the University of Toronto with a focus on second-language-education.
Her research interests include French as a second language education and multilingual language acquisition. Dr, Mady's research focuses on minority immigrant populations in those areas and students with learning difficulties.
